After fighting for what seemed an eternity in Nektulos Forest, The Imperium has moved to the cusp of level 5. Once we achive this, our guild will be honored by Freeport. What our reward will be remains to be seen, but if Freeport and Lucan fails to gift us with rewards, we will take what is rightfully ours...

Last night, our guild achieved level 2. Well done all. Now that our levels are closer, we should have much more success at completing Writs. Remember to always make sure you have 4 writs on you. Guild Writs can be found in the following locations: West Freeport at the Militia house. The NPC is just inside, to the right, as you enter. South Freeport at the docked boat. North Freeport at the Temple of War and the Mage Guild. As you complete these quests, you will add experience to our guild (viewable by hitting the U key and looking at our guild xp bar). Our guild advances levels in the same manner as a character, and higher levels allow more advanced quests and many other perks. In addition, you will earn status points (viewable in your persona -- P key). These points can be used to buy items from faction merchants (there is one in West Freeport and another in East Freeport). Items include forges and other crafting tools. I would assume at higher levels we will gain access to elite guild items, perhaps community storage items or other unique items. One key to success with guild writs will be for all to select the same quests. This can be done by refusing the quest (i.e. select "No") until the correct one is offered. Then, as a group, we can complete these at the same time. Since the quests are based on your character level, synchronizing our levels will be required for this to work. Dec 22, 2004 |
